Robert Yang’s Complete Digestive Wellness and Support Program
We have helped numerous clients address their digestive disorders. Our digestive wellness and support program addresses digestive issues holistically, acknowledging that there may be multiple factors contributing to what is going on in your gut.
This program begins with an initial consultation where we get an understanding of your health, lifestyle choices, sleep, stress level, and overall wellbeing. In addition, we ask you to keep a seven day food journal, so we can best understand your nutrition. Following the 60 minute initial consultation we may recommend a functional blood panel that includes testing for complete blood count, comprehensive metabolic profile, blood sugar control, cardio vascular risk, inflammation markers, thyroid hormones, sex hormones, essential fatty acid levels, food sensitivities and leaky gut. Stool testing may be necessary to test for overgrowth of bacteria, parasite and/or yeast.
How Do You Improve Your Gut Microbiome?
In a healthy gut, there is a symbiotic relationship with bacteria in the small and large intestine called the gut microbiome. The gut microbiome regulates your gut and can affect your hormones, allergies, skin, immune system, and the brain. Here are some ways to improve your gut microbiome:
- Eat cruciferous vegetables and fruit high in fiber
- Avoid alcohol, sugar, processed foods, and industrial seed oils
- Reduce stress
- Get enough sleep
- Exercise regularly
- Stay hydrated
- Chew your food
- Get tested for food intolerances

Although our office is located in Encinitas, CA our Telehealth platform called Healthie, which also has a mobile friendly app component, allows us to conduct Telehealth calls with clients across the world.
Your initial nutrition consultation will be a Telehealth call through Healthie where we will review your completed Health History form and the required Seven-Day Food journal. Food journals can be done through the convenience of the Healthie app and require you to snap a picture of what you ate during the day and write a brief description of your meal. During your initial nutrition consultation Robert will make recommendations for laboratory tests that may be appropriate for your specific health issues.
An initial nutrition consultation will take 60 minutes. Follow-up consultations range anywhere from 30 to 60 minutes. This consultation does not include any laboratory testing or the cost of recommended supplementation – both are separate fees.

Cancellation and Reschedule Policy
When an appointment is scheduled, time is reserved especially for you and no one else. This appointment is a commitment you and the practitioner have made to your health. Since our appointments are much longer than standard office visits, cancellations are significant interruptions to the office.
When you do not cancel an appointment promptly, you may be preventing another client from getting much-needed treatment. Thus, a minimum of 2 weeks notice is required for all cancellations and reschedules. If an appointment is cancelled less than 2 weeks prior to your appointment you will be charged a $50 late fee.
You will forfeit your session if the appointment is cancelled within the 1 week period and be charged for your session.
There will be a 100% office visit charge ($300 for 1 hour) for “no-shows,” late cancellations or reschedules that can’t be filled.
